On my walk home yesterday, thinking about the shift in energies. The recent full moon, lunar eclipse and Mercury retrograde. Did anyone else feel the heavy intensity the last few weeks? Things breaking down, communication issues, plans getting disrupted, because I sure did. I’m glad that it has begun to mellow down and interestingly on this day of the Autumn Equinox, as the northern hemisphere transitions into shedding season.
While we don’t experience the change in seasons here in South East Asia (we have sunshine all-year round in Singapore), I feel it energetically, a shift in the ether. As Mercury begins to go direct again, as we emerge from shedding what no longer serves, there’s a feeling of being propelled into renewed light – of going forth into a space of lightness, rejuvenation and expansiveness; much like a flower that is ready to bloom. There is definitely something stirring in the air.
I am reminded of the message on my Moulton cuff, ‘Light’. I had it custom made by the lovely Jen, founder of Moulton, and wear it daily as a personal mantra. It serves as a reminder to always seek the light and choose love and joy each and every day. To never stop pursing what sets my soul on fire and makes me happiest, and ultimately to remember that light will always triumph over darkness. Choosing to live in the light is a necessary choice, to keep me rooted and grounded in my purpose. It’s not always easy, but I try.
Here, I paired it with my new Khaleesi bracelet (yes, inspired by the Mother of Dragons herself), a gift from my dear friend, Sherri, founder of Sattva Earth. For those of you who know me, my love for crystals is no secret. I believe in their healing energies and ability to shift and elevate our mental, physical and emotional well-being. Sherri designs each piece with deep intention and sacredness and it is apparent when I receive them. Yes, I have many.
Made with, blue lace agate, amethyst, labradorite and rudraksha seeds, I love that it represents both strength and grace; beauty and magic. It often requires a brave heart, much tenacity and a sprinkling of divine magic to walk the lighted (and sometimes less traveled) path, and yet all the while doing it with loving grace. I think it comes with constant practice by saying yes to our soul’s callings – whatever it may be – which helps make our journey a little more effortless each time.
Wherever you are, I wish you courage and strength to stand in your light and shine, and may divine grace carry you through, always and all ways.
